Westfund Health Insurance has been awarded “Most Outstanding Value Package Cover” in New South Wales for the second consecutive year by Canstar Cannex in its health insurance star ratings.

The prestigious Canstar Cannex star ratings for private health insurance were awarded in October and Westfund outperformed other major funds including Medibank Private and HCF to take out the NSW State Award and gain 5 star ratings on several of its packaged health insurance covers.

Canstar Cannex evaluated health funds across Australia and examined over 10,000 quotes from 1200 products in the comparison. Westfund received 5 star ratings in 7 of the categories in the report which seeks to demystify the ever changing world of private health insurance.

Westfund Managing Director Grahame Danaher was proud of the achievement and with the reports findings and attributed the success to Westfund’s improved product development and member communication.
