Westfund Health Insurance is proud to support the Western Wildfires Cricket Association.

Wildfires’ president John Haddin and secretary Barry Fitzgerald visited the Lithgow Care Centre on Tuesday 5 September to receive a $1000 donation from team leader Rachel Brooks.

The Western Wildfires provide a game of senior cricket in two age groups (Over 50s and Over 60s).

Games are always played in safe yet competitive environment with mateship, camaraderie and being active the main goals.

Westfund’s donation will allow the Wildfires to purchase game shirts, balls, update their equipment and pay umpire fees.

Mrs Brooks was pleased at the opportunity to support such a great cause.

“Westfund are dedicated to supporting the health of the community and staying active is a big part of that,” she said.

“We look forward to a successful 2017/18 season for the Western Wildfires and wish them the best of luck in the competition,” she said.
