Couples: 2 consults
Families: 4 consults

As a Westfund member, you can continue to get $5 off Standard Appointments after you've used your free consult/s.

Login to the Westfund+ app

Navigate to ‘book’ to find the Doctors on Demand tile and click 'book an appointment'.

Visit the Doctors on Demand booking portal

You’ll be sent to the Doctors on Demand booking platform where you can choose to speak to a doctor now or book an appointment at a date and time that suits you.

See your pricing details

The $5 off benefit will be automatically applied. You’ll be asked a few questions to confirm if you’re eligible for the fully covered consult.

Attend your appointment

Join your video consult using your smartphone, tablet or computer and discuss your medical questions or concerns with your doctor.

After your consultation, your doctor may provide:
• Prescriptions sent via eScript
• Referrals for specialists or pathology services

*GP health consults with Doctors of Demand are only available to members on Extras cover who have been a member for more than 6 months. Appointments are available to eligible members for 6 months (from 1 January 2026 to 30 June 2026).

FAQs

How do I book an appointment?

Appointments are available anytime via the Doctors on Demand platform.
Select ‘Speak to a doctor now’ or choose a preferred time, then follow the prompts to register and complete a short medical history.

Can I get a prescription or referral through this service?

Yes. Doctors can provide prescriptions, referrals and medical certificates where appropriate following your consultation.

Can I use this service while overseas?

No. This service is only available within Australia, as it connects you with Australian-registered doctors.

Is this service available in languages other than English?

Yes. Doctors on Demand offers access to over 200 doctors and support in 25+ languages.You can select your preferred language when booking, although availability may vary. 

Can I get a medical certificate through Doctors on Demand?

At your consulting doctor’s discretion, they will issue and email a medical certificate to you following your consultation. Once issued, they will also be available on your patient dashboard. Please note: a medical certificate is a legal document, issuing of medical certificates is at the doctor’s discretion.

How long will I have to wait to get an appointment?

Doctors are available 24/7, 365 days with most appointments available within an hour.

What happens if I need to have a physical exam?

Not all conditions are suitable for online doctors. If your condition requires a physical examination we recommend booking an in-person appointment.

Do I have a choice of a female or male doctor?

Yes. You can select your preferred doctor using the gender filter when booking your appointment.
