Westfund’s skin screening clinics bring world-class screening and prevention services directly to our members and communities.
Our goal is simple: make lifesaving skin checks accessible, affordable, and stress-free for members.
We’ve expanded beyond SpotScreen’s trusted skin cancer checks to include advanced mobile clinics powered by cutting-edge 3D imaging, in partnership with the Australian Skin Cancer Foundation. This means faster, more accurate detection and greater access for regional Australians—closing the gap in care where it’s needed most.
It’s good to have options
You can use our new mobile service with the Australian Skin Cancer Foundation, stop by a Spotscreen clinic at one of our Care Centres, or make use of your Extra’s Cover Preventative Health Check benefit* at a local service—all as part of Westfund’s commitment to supporting your preventative health.
Spotscreen
We've partnered with Spotscreen - Australia's Onsite Skin Cancer Screening Specialists, to help provide full body skin screenings for Westfund members at only $77. Depending on your level of Extras cover, you may be eligible to claim up to $60 back via your Preventative Health Checks benefit.* Members living in Bathurst, Lithgow, Mudgee, Mackay, Maroochydore and Moranbah can book a full body screening through Spotscreen. Your appointment should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on your skin type and number of spots or moles you have. *Waiting periods, item limits, sub-limits and annual group limits apply.
Mobile Skin Clinic
We’ve partnered with the Australian Skin Cancer Foundation (ASCF) to provide a one-stop mobile service for skin cancer screening, detection and early intervention for our members and regional communities across Australia. The clinic features advanced 3D imaging, capturing the entire skin surface in seconds to detect suspicious lesions invisible to the human eye. The ASCF mobile clinic is scheduled to visit each Westfund Care Centre location twice annually. Appointment bookings will be available from early next year.

ASCF Mobile Clinic will be on the road travelling to communities across the year. Visit the ASCF website to find out if it will be visiting a town near you.
