Supporting members and communities after the Bondi tragedy

Our hearts are with the people of Bondi and all those impacted by the devastating event on Sunday 14 December. Westfund stands alongside families, first responders, health workers, and the wider community during this time of grief and recovery.

“We’re heartbroken by the news and stand with the victims, their loved ones and the wider community,” said Mark Genovese, Chief Executive Officer of Westfund.

“There are many support services available thanks to the efforts of NSW Health, Lifeline and local community groups like Jewish House and JewishCare. Westfund members impacted will now have access to additional support, with a fully covered psychology consult via our partners at MyMirror.”

Eligible Westfund members can access a free and confidential 50-minute psychology consultation with a specialised psychologist through MyMirror. This service is available to members on hospital only or combined hospital and extras policies aged 12 years and over. Members can book online via Members Online. The service will be available until 19 January 2026.
