Westfund Community Grants Program

Applications for the Westfund Community
Grants Program will reopen in 2021.

At Westfund, our members are at the centre of everything we do. That’s why we’re so excited to welcome the 50,000th membership to the Westfund community.

As with a new arrival in any family, we wanted to mark the occasion by doing something special. To say thank you to our members and our community, we expanded our July 2020 Community Grants Program round by an additional $50,000.

This funding boost meant an 16 additional grants/defibrillators, as well as one major grant of $10,000 — which we asked the public to help us choose. We invited our entire community to vote on the shortlisted candidates. The worthy winner of this major grant was Toowoomba’s Sunrise Way.
We’d like to thank everyone who took the time to vote for their favourite organisation.

About the Westfund Community Grants Program

Supporting communities to thrive is part of Westfund’s DNA. We are passionate believers in organisations that inspire the principles of health and wellbeing, fitness for life, family and community.

This passion is the motivation behind the Westfund Community Grants Program. In 2020, we are proud to offer $170,000 in grants to eligible organisations throughout Australia. The Westfund Community Grants Program also incorporates the Here for Hearts initiative, which provides access to defibrillators.

Healthy families are at the centre of our commitment to our members and communities. Encouraging families to gather and to share the social side of community or group fitness activities is important to us.
