Frequently Asked Questions

What do I use to login to the app?

You'll need your Westfund card for your login details.

Your username is made up of your member number and your dependant number (the number next to your name on the card).

eg. If your member number is 1000 and your dependant number is 1, your username is 1000-1.

What can I claim on the app?

You can make an Extras claim or Medical (in hospital) claim through the App.

Can each member have their own login?

Yes, provided that they're over 16 years of age. For more information on children using the app see "Can my children make a claim on the app?".

Can my child/ren make a claim on the app?

Yes, provided they're over 16 and have their own login, a child can only make a claim for their own services on the app.

Can i still use eClaiming?

Yes, eClaiming through Members Online is still available.

What is the benefit of claiming on the app?

App claims are quick and easy for you to complete - there's no need to send in physical copies of your receipt.

Claims made through the app will also be prioritised.

Which devices is the app available on?

The Westfund App is available both on Apple's App Store´╗┐ and Google Play´╗┐. It's available for smart phones and tablets.

What if I forgot my password?

On the Login screen, click Forget Password and follow the prompts. You'll need your username, email address and date of birth.
