In the case of emailed or faxed claims, please retain your original receipts for a period of 2 years should your claim be audited by Westfund within this period.

Saving time with instant electronic claims

To reduce the time you have to wait to get money back in your pocket, we offer the Health Industry Claims and Payment Service (HICAPS). When you’re paying for a service covered by your policy, you simply swipe your Westfund membership card at the service provider’s premises. Your claimable benefit is automatically deducted from your bill and you pay the difference – no forms to fill in or claims to post. Ask your health care provider if they are also part of HICAPS.
