New Years Resolutions 2015

Welcome to 2015! It’s a new year and it can be a new you too! If you’re trying to find a resolution that you can stick to, look back on your past resolutions and come up with a completely new set of challenges that are a little less challenging. Instead of focusing on the outcomes of your resolutions, why not set out to progress throughout the New Year and see how far you’ve come?

Here are some easy-to-do resolutions that might inspire you for 2015:

1. Walk more and sit less

Make the commitment in 2015 to walk more than you sit, whether it be to the gym, a coffee date or even find some time on your break at work to get that little bit of outdoor activity to brighten your day.

2. Be grateful for something everyday

Stop what you’re doing once a day to appreciate someone or something that is making you a happier person in 2015.

3. Eat your fruit and vegies

Try to ensure you’re getting all the nutrients you need by eating the rainbow with a daily dose of fruit and vegies. 2015 can make for a new, healthier you!

4. Join the gym

Keeping healthy is an essential part of living. Why not join the local gym to keep in shape for 2015? There’s nothing better than the feeling of those endorphins after a workout.

5. Allow time for yourself

2015 is the year to make time for you to sit back and relax! Schedule some time every week to switch off your phone and TV and take back some quality time with you, whether it be enjoying your morning/afternoon tea or coffee or simply setting aside some time to lounge around and read your favourite book.

6. Take a step out of your comfort zone

For some of us, taking a step outside of our little box is a hard step to take. Why not sign up for something this year that you’ll remember for all the years to come? Pushing yourself to do things that you’re not used to could possibly be one of the best decisions you’ll ever make & you might meet some fantastic new friends too.

7. Cherish family time

Ensure you take the time each week to spend some quality time with the ones you love because after all, there is nothing more important than letting them know how much you care.

8. Plan a holiday

Travelling is the only thing money can buy that makes you richer. Try to plan a holiday this year that you won’t forget. Visit the places you’ve never been to before, even if it’s just down the road, and experience some fantastic new things!

9. Be more positive

2015 is a new year, a new you with brand new opportunities. Try to take everything that gets thrown at you with a positive mindset and don’t let little things dull your sparkle! Be happy this year, and be you!

10. Volunteer or donate to charity

Donating or volunteering makes your imprint on the world. Stand out to others by making them happy and make the world a better place by aiming to do a few selfless deeds this year. You’ll be surprised how far a kind gesture can go!

We all have something that we would like to do better in the New Year, whether it’s to get fit and lose weight, kick that unhealthy habit or to be more creative and travel more.
